Hot Trend Alert for SS12...

Last 'summer' (can we even call it that?) was about the ACID brights. And plenty of 'em. Next year it seems as though palettes are muted and toned down to adorable candy, pastel shades. Take Phillip Lim 3:1 for example, blocking his sherbet tones with crisp whites in softly tailored, loose pieces. I can see this trend all over the high street. What do you think?

I would agree. It is an easy one for high street stores to replicate - I am very excited about it!

I loved the pallette, and also Mulberry's which seems to be very similar, pastels and candy canes! Although I'm worried that I'll look like a lolypop if I don't pull it off right !
